There is no excuse for breaking the rules. We will ban you. These rules are subject to change at any time.
- Hashcat DOES NOT WORK with ONLINE accounts (Facebook, Instagram, email accounts, etc.). Asking for help with online accounts will result in an automatic ban. See https://hashcat.net/faq/online for details.
- Post in English.
- Do not post your hash unless you are asked to do so during troubleshooting. Mask them like this: X7XX5XX2b3aXXbX73XXcc8f0XX4fXX63
- Test hashes with known plaintext are acceptable if you provide the plaintext at the same time.
- Do not ask people to crack your hash. It does not matter if you are willing to pay.
- Do not trick people into cracking your hash, eg: by faking a problem.
- Do not steal / hijack threads, such as by disguising your request as a reply to an unrelated thread.
- Do not mention or request illegal activities, including (but not limited to) hacking/cracking accounts, unauthorized access to systems or accounts you do not own or have permission to, etc.
- Do not post about selling software / hardware.
- Do not advertise / spam.
- Do not ask for hash lists.
- Do not double post.
- Do not post NSFW or obscene content.
- Do not post issues about using a GPU that is no longer supported by the latest driver from its vendor.
- Do not use ChatGPT or similar LLMs / chatbots to create or modify posts.
- Posting about SL3 will result in an automatic ban.
